Hi, I’m nancy paschall.

My extensive experience is dedicated to one goal: transforming lives for the better. With over 25 years of diverse experience as a family/addictions therapist, legislative analyst, grant manager, funder at various levels, and nonprofit executive director, I've mastered the art of driving positive change. My strategic planning prowess equips me to tackle challenges head-on and seize opportunities with precision, always focusing on well-defined objectives and the means to achieve them. My journey includes key roles in legislative analysis, as well as grants development and management at the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services, equipping me with the knowledge and skills needed to drive meaningful enhancements for my clients.

I'm also deeply involved in the Equine Assisted Service industry. I've led multiple EAS centers, developed innovative programs, and consulted on facility development and strategic planning. My dedication to this field is further evident through my volunteer roles as chairperson of the Virginia Horse Industry Board by gubernatorial appointment, vice-chair of the Virginia Horse Council, and past presidency of the Therapeutic Riding Association of Virginia. Currently, I proudly serve as the president of the board of directors for the Horses and Humans Research Foundation.

My comprehensive background has shaped me into a dedicated connector of people and resources, driven by meticulous planning for the outcomes you desire. Let's embark on this transformative journey together!

I am honored to have authored a chapter focused on starting an equine-assisted services organization in the recent book “Integrating Horses into Healing” edited by Cheryl Meola.
